My Story
My journey hasn't been a straight shot to the top. It's been more like a scenic route with plenty of twists, turns, and unexpected stops.
In 1990, I waved goodbye to my tech job and dove head first into the glittering world of jewelry. Lori Bonn Designs sparkled in stores like Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdale's, and even on QVC. Millions of my pieces found their way around the globe.
But then, plot twist! I scaled it all down. It stopped feeling right.
Life, as you know, is a bumpy ride. I've been on the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship, raised two amazing kids, navigated the ups and downs of a 30-year marriage, and looked after ailing family members.
These experiences taught me two things: that letting go is just as important as holding on, and that every part of us is valuable. The anger, the sadness, the joy – it all matters. Caring for myself and caring for others — it all matters. Acknowledging my fear and standing tall — it all matters.
My jewelry was designed to help people feel confidently themselves. But confidence is an inside job. Now I'm guiding others to discover their inner beauty, strength and wisdom.
I invite leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to practice the art of being human. Let’s forget about keeping up appearances and chasing endless goals. Let’s explore what makes us more fully ourselves.
